I don’t know whether I’m allowed to share this story here, but really I don’t know where else I can post this story. It’s Super Junior related guys, I think it’s worth the read ^^
I’m feeling kind of down lately, not because there are some bad rumors about our oppas, but it’s because what someone said to me. No she didn’t bash me or uri oppadeuls. She was just sharing her story with me, but it still hurts.
So here’s the story … I met another KPopper, at first I was so happy to meet her because well .. you know, KPoppers have so many things in common right? After a few days we started to get to know each other, well maybe she started to get to know more about me. She knew I’m a big time ELF, fulltime sparKYU, and Kyumin shipper. She also knew I’m a fanbase admin and I support ALL 15 members in Super Junior. She knew lots about my fangirl life, oh I mean my ELF life. But I really don’t know much about her, all I know is that she’s a KPopper.
Now I know MORE than I ever wanted to know, and it hurts 😥 why? Because she dislikes our oppas, for some reason that i find ridiculous. So here’s what happened earlier:
Her (H): what is it you like about them?
Me (M): do you need reasons to love someone? i thought love is blind, it’s supposed to happen just like that isn’t it?
H: LOL ~ gosh, i forgot you love SM products.
M: what about them?
H: oh open your eyes chingu! there are tons of better Korean namja’s out there.
M: *kind of speechless* but I like Super Junior more than anything, I’ll always do.
H: tsk, that’s because you haven’t seen other groups. I used to think the same thing you know, back on the days when I was still an ELF.
M: you were an ELF?!
H: yeah, in fact Suju was the group that made me fell in love with Korean Pop.
M: so why stop being one?
H: I stopped being one ever since Henry and Zhou Mi was added into the group.
M: why? our oppas support them, why wouldn’t you?
H: i just don’t like them okay? i know it’s kind of useless to say this to you, but just listen to my advise … there are many, plenty, tons of Korean guys out there much better than your oppas. better voices, better looks, bigger fanbases, you’re blinded by SM.
some how that was the end of our conversation. i repeat once more, she was not bashing me or our oppas.
what ever made her dislike our oppas , i really don’t care. i’m starting to think, why do i like Super Junior anyway?
i have my own reasons.
i love our oppas because they’re more than just some Korean boy band, they’re family. i love the way they treat each other MORE than just fellow band members, but as brothers. i cried when i watch exploration of human body’s secret camera prank, you know .. the part when they fooled Hyukjae oppa and Wookie oppa to get their tears . i know they were just acting , but i actually cried because i really can’t imagine those words coming out from their mouths.
i love the way Teukie oppa respects us. i love the way Heenim oppa feels confident to be the person who he really is. i love the way Hangeng oppa took the courage to fight for himself. i love the way Yesung oppa acts random. i love the way Kangin oppa teases and make fun of other members. i love the way Shindong oppa makes the mood lighter in an instant. i love the way Sungmin oppa smiles cutely and responds wisely to every problem facing them. i love the way Eunhyuk oppa dances. i love the way Donghae oppa’s eyes got all teary. i love the way Siwon oppa cares for every member. i love the way Ryeowook oppa smiles shyly. i love the way Kibum oppa smiles. i love the way Kyuhyun oppa smirks devilish-ly. i love the way Henry acts childish. i love everything about our oppas. and last but not least, i love the way they love us back!
maybe there are groups more popular , more younger , more fans , more endorsments than Super Junior. but NO OTHER group can replace them in my heart . yes , IT’S YOU super junior ! only for you ! and IT HAS TO BE YOU ~ do i need to write a whole novel describing WHY I LIKE YOU ? i’ll do it if you ask for it!
your lyrics are such PERFECTION , makes me feel like I’m your one and only SUPER GIRL . oh wait , we are your super girl ! you said so your self right oppas ? in super show 3 VCR , to ELF … my girls, my love, my angels ~ you make me so proud of your unity colour SAPPHIRE BLUE . you showed me that LOVE IS SWEET and you bring HAPPINESS in to my life. knowing you oppadeul , being in love with ALL MY HEART with you is really a MIRACLE . you made me believe that HOPE IS A DREAM THAT NEVER SLEEPS , and yet OUR LOVE is a NEW ENDLESS LOVE ~
so i really don’t care what other people say about uri oppadeul . i will always love them . nothing’s gonna change my love for you oppadeul . you’ll always have us, ELF, by your side. and we know you will always be here for us right?
